What Is Reiki
The Universal Life Force energy has been with us since the beginning of creation.There have been many, aware individuals who have discovered it is part of all of us and have spent their lives assisting people to find the light within them. Dr Mikao Usui is on of them.
Reiki is an ancient healing modality originating in Japan and was re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui around the end of 19th century. Usui was Japanese so he used a Japanese word to describe this modality. Reiki loosely translates to “Universal Life Force”. It is around and within every living thing on our wonderful planet and in the Universe.
Reiki is not a belief system, a cult, or a religion; it will just simply increase and expand your awareness of you. Thus help you to become more of who you truly are.
The beautiful, gentle energy was the key that unlocked the love, wisdom and creativity from within, helping me to open and expand my heart and live my ever expanding, soul's dream.

Reiki Healing Session
Reiki is a Japanese word that means “Universal Life Force” and is a healing energy channelled through the practitioner’s hands. Reiki helps to restore harmony and balance by removing emotional blockages and aligning the body, mind and spirit.
The Reiki healing will be performed on a comfortable treatment table, with your clothes on and Denise will gently place her hands on you. It is a very gentle process, you will feel relaxed and calm and you may even go to sleep. A session will leave you feeling peaceful and balanced.
Personal transformation and deep inner healing may be experienced during and after the Session/s.
If needed Denise may combine Tibetan healing bowls, crystals, guided visualisation or counselling in a healing session.

Learning Reiki

You will receive “Attunements” during a course. The Attunement’s work on an energetic level, to fine tune you as a clear channel and at the same time will connect you to the sacred tradition and lineage of “The Usui System of Natural Healing.”
Reiki has brought much joy and happiness to me, it has supported me on all levels, as I have made many profound changes in my life.
Reiki opened me up to the possibility that anything is possible. Not, in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be standing in front of people, imparting ancient, sacred information, but here I am and you could be here too!
Reiki 1- Shoden (Clearing & Healing)
Reiki triggers and enhances our own ability to heal ourselves, which in turn helps others to heal themselves.

Reiki Master/Teacher Training - Shinpiden (mystery/master teaching)
Reiki Master Training is for individuals who would like to delve further into they own healing, learning to embrace all parts of themselves - becoming a Master of your own life. You will also learn how to pass attunements and teach Reiki to others.
This process can take from 6 – 10 months of weekly/fortnightly sessions, depending on your progress. You need to have completed Reiki 2 and practiced for a period of 6 months, allowing the 2nd degree attunement to integrate.
If you are interested, an interview can be arrangedto see if student and teacher are appropriate for each other.
